This lovely family asked me to do a colourful shoot with lots of Street Art and shophouses. The street art around Arab street is avant-garde yet colourful. A perfect location and great to keep the kids entertained too! Loved it!

Gardens by the Bay is a great location for an an outdoor photo shoot. For starters, it offers wonderful family portaits with Singapore’s skyline, including the Singapore Flyer and Marina Bay.

Also, the kids have the chance to run around, scoot, cycle or even fly a kite, and simply enjoy themselves. Having them doing what they like gives great photos. Usually, there is a pleasant breeze in the afternoon and the natural light is amazing. I’ve heard of the occasional encounter with the otter family living in the bay. Unfortunately I did not see them myself yet, but who knows: maybe we’ll meet them!

Afterwards, you can take the kids to the newly renovated water play at Marina Barrage or simply head to Satay by the Bay for dinner.  I love to take my family here!

Tanjong Beach is an amazing place for a family photo shoot. When compared to Sentosa’s other beaches it is quite, spacious and (almost) free from commercial activity. This time round, there was not much of a breeze, and the temperature was rising quickly.

Children usually do not seem to mind Singapore’s temperatures, especially not if there is an abundance of sand and water to play in. The tropical backdrop, with palm trees and the occasional rain tree allows for wonderful family portraits. Afterwards, we headed to the beach club to cool down and play in the pool. I had a fab time and a great morning outing with this lovely family!

Tourists and local alike love the Botanic Gardens and I keep returning here for family photography. For this lovely family of four, it was a special occasion. Given that they were relocating, they wanted to have a keepsake of one of the places in Singapore they loved most.

The great thing of about the Botanic Gardens is that it offers a variety of locations and backdrops. Well-known spots include the Palm Valley, the waterfall at the Ginger Garden, and the band stand. There are numerous other spots off the beaten track. These include leafy arches, and even some secret gardens. All with all, it make this spot a wonderful location for an iconic outdoor photo shoot.

Last month I had a beach photo shoot while travelling New Zealand. Piha Beach, with its scenic black sand was simply magical! The beach is a 45-minute drive from Auckland, and is marked by rugged cliffs at both ends. While it’s known as a surfers beach, it is also great for the children to stroll around and play. Watch out for the currents though!
